We played a record. We listened to an album. We sat with the songs we grew up with, the artists we loved, and the rooms those memories lived in. Music was not background noise — it was an experience.
Today, music is more convenient than ever. But convenience has often moved us two steps away from the artist’s intent: scale, texture, presence, emotion, and the feeling of being fully immersed in a performance.
